Princess Charlotte & Prince George Take a Page Out of Meghan Markle & Prince Harry’s Book in Brand-New Photo

It looks like Prince William and his eldest children have learned a few things from Meghan Markle and Prince Harry, including how to pose with an umbrella for a photo opp.

Over the weekend, the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge shared a snap of their two eldest kids volunteering in honor of the U.K’s Volunteers Week. In the never-before-seen shot, Prince William holds an umbrella over Prince George and Princess Charlotte, while delivering meals to needy families during the coronavirus pandemic.

And while the trio looks hard at work, we immediately recognized the photo’s connection to the iconic picture of the Duke and Duchess of Sussex. You know, the one where they are in matching blue ensembles under an umbrella in the rain?

The Sussex photograph in question was taken at this year’s Endeavour Fund Awards ceremony (on March 31 to be exact). The event also marked the 35-year-old prince and 38-year-old duchess’s first joint U.K. engagement since announcing their plans to step back from their duties as senior members of the royal family.

But that's not all—the Cambridge children are also following in Meghan and Harry’s footsteps by volunteering, something the couple has continued to do since their move to Los Angeles. In fact, the duo joined Project Angel Food to deliver free meals to people suffering from serious illnesses back in April. This was the second time they volunteered for the charity, after also helping them on Easter Sunday.

Seems like George and Charlotte are learning a lot from their Aunt Meghan and Uncle Harry.
