Prince William, Kate Middleton & Their 3 Kids Just Made Cupcakes for Vets and We Have a Pic of the Beautiful Results

Prince William, Kate Middleton and their three children have apparently been spending some quality time in the kitchen. And they're doing it for a good cause.

On Monday, the shared Instagram of the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge (@Kensigntonroyal) revealed that the couple, along with their three kids, Prince George, 7, Princess Charlotte, 5, and Prince Louis, 2, have been busy baking treats for war veterans and armed forces members to thank them for their service.

The post featured a photo of the delicious treats, called poppy cakes, which were recently delivered to the Royal British Legion's facility, located just a short distance from the family’s Anmer Hall estate in Norfolk.

“From The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge to the Royal British Legion,” part of the caption read. “#Repost @royalbritishlegion The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge and their family have shown their support for our Poppy Appeal [the annual fundraising effort for the U.K. Armed Forces' community] this year by baking poppy cakes!”

We’re not surprised the Cambridge kids got involved, considering we’ve heard about their love for working in the kitchen in the past. In fact, over the summer, the duke revealed that the children have been using the time of social distancing to master their baking skills, calling it “an explosion of flour.”

“The children have been attacking the kitchen and it’s just been an explosion of flour and chocolate everywhere,” he said in an interview before confirming that there is no shortage of sweets in the Cambridge household. “I think we’ve all eaten so many cakes and chocolate,” he added.

We guess all of that practice is coming in handy.
