We'd be lying if we said we didn't meticulously pore over the Cambridge's new family photos. Taken by the Duchess of Cambridge herself, the brand new royal portraits featuring Prince William with the three Cambridge kids were shared in honor of the Prince's birthday as well as Father's Day, which happened to fall on the same day this year.

The Wedding Detail You Probably Missed in Prince William and Kate Middleton's New Family Photo
But upon closer inspection of the Cambridge's new photos, we noticed photographer Kate Middleton made it into the photo in the sweetest way. That wood-and-rope swing looks awfully familiar, right? It's because the swing was featured prominently in Prince George's third birthday portraits, where one side of the swing is clearly visible. "William & Catherine" is clearly engraved in the backyard keepsake.
The new portraits, however, are taken from the other side of the swing...and royal fans noticed that "April 2011" appears to be engraved on the back.
What's more, the swing came from a U.K. company called The Oak & Rope Company, who noted that it was purchased as a wedding gift for the Cambridges, via People.
Rumor has it (per the Daily Mail), the sentimental wedding gift was from their "Pa," aka Prince Charles.
The sweetest (and subtlest) callout to William and Kate's wedding and Prince Charles? The Cambridges seriously know how to do candids.
