Prince William Just Posted a Really Bizarre New Photo on Instagram. Here’s What it Means

One of Prince William’s latest Instagram posts included a glass of beer, a microphone and apps on silver trays. But as it turns out, he’s not promoting karaoke night like we originally thought.

Instead, the Duke of Cambridge was actually teasing one of his new projects, where he joined Peter Crouch for a special episode of That Peter Crouch Podcast in support of the Heads Up campaign. According to Kensington Palace, the episode was recorded in two parts—at the palace in March, and via video call earlier this month.

The episode (which is available now) was released ahead of this weekend’s Heads Up FA Cup Final, between Arsenal and Chelsea, and covers everything from the return of football during the coronavirus pandemic to William’s experiences both playing and watching the sport with his family.

“Since being a dad, football has become way more important to me than it ever used to,” he said during the interview. “It’s really weird. I need to go and let off a bit of steam. It’s become a lot more relevant to me and I need it.”

Lucky for us, the duke and duchess’s shared social media account posted behind-the-scenes footage from the recording sessions. And by the looks of all of the food and drinks (and simply the fact that it was shot in the KP), it seems like these guys had a blast creating the content.
