In the pics, Prince William and Prince George are seen matching in a pair of blue button-ups, while Princess Charlotte is wearing a light pink Polo over a white and blue top. The Duke of Cambridge was in full dad mode as he stood behind his kids and whispered to them during the event. Later, he leaned over and shared the microphone with the kids as they all counted down to the start of the race.
The race's director, Aaron Murrell, told BBC that the royal family members helped elevated the event, saying, “The runners really enjoyed seeing them there as our special guests, and there was a fantastic atmosphere within the event village as they joined us on stage to start the half-marathon event.”
According to Murrell, the entire event included 1,300 runners, who participated in either the half-marathon, the 5K or a community mile at the royal estate. The races were held as a fundraiser to help raise “many thousands of pounds for good causes.”
We can never get enough of these royal family moments.
