The duke sold copies throughout London and the outing was documented in a video posted to Instagram (shown above). Prince William also visited a charity called The Passage. According to the official website, the organization aims to eliminate the negative stigma around homelessness and provide resources to people in need.
In the caption of his Instagram post, William explained what fueled his passion for the cause and described the connection to his mother.
“I was eleven when I first visited @passagecharity with my mother and since then, homelessness has stuck with me as an issue I want to fight for,” the duke wrote. “I have always believed in using my platform to help bring attention and action to those who are struggling and I commit to doing what I can to shine a spotlight on this solvable issue not just today, but in the months and years to come.”
We love seeing William continue to make a positive impact in the world.
