Happy 36th birthday, Prince William!
Kensington Palace tweeted in honor of his first birthday as a dad of three (the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge welcomed their third child, Prince Louis, on April 23). The second in line to the royal throne has already had quite the day of celebrating (what with the Brits being five hours ahead and all). After a hearty breakfast of cake and Stella (OK, we’re just guessing about that part), he attended the opening ceremony of the Defence and National Rehabilitation Center for injured service people with Prime Minister Theresa May, according to the Daily Express.
He’ll also be taking a five-day royal tour (although, probably not what you’d picture when you think of a “birthday vacation”) to the Middle East to visit Israel, Jordan and Occupied Palestinian Territories on behalf of the queen starting Sunday, June 24.
If we were the prince, we’d probably just spend a quiet birthday weekend at home with family, enjoying a break from royal engagements and playing with George, Char and Louis.
Our one birthday wish: Save us a slice of birthday cake?
