Here’s How Prince Harry & Meghan Markle Are Going the Extra Mile to Avoid Seeing Each Other Before the Royal Wedding
Meghan Markle and Prince Harry are going to great lengths to honor tradition ahead of their royal wedding.
The couple reportedly plans to stay at separate hotels on the eve of their nuptials to avoid Prince Harry seeing his bride-to-be before they walk down the aisle. They feel so strongly about upholding this matrimonial tradition that their hotels are 30 minutes (15 minutes) from each other. Now that’s dedication.
Harry will stay at the Dorchester Collection’s Coworth Park in Windsor, with his brother and best man, Prince William. The plush hotel features views of a lime grove, meadows and polo fields, so it’s basically fit for a prince (or two).
Markle and her mom, Doria Ragland, will stay at Cliveden House Hotel at the National Trust’s Cliveden Estate in Windsor. Each room in the posh retreat features a fireplace, expansive bathroom and a dressing room perfect for slipping into a royal wedding gown. Sounds like Markle chose her pre-wedding oasis perfectly.
Following their May 19 wedding, the couple will spend their wedding night in Windsor Castle.
We’re getting close, people. We better get moving on that watch party prep.
