Forget the flowers and chocolate. For Prince Harry and Meghan Markle, this Valentine’s Day is all about bagpipes, rolling hills and haggis.
The royal couple is set to make a trip to Edinburgh, Scotland, on February 13, and will spend V Day doing some pretty awesome charity projects.
First, the prince and his beloved will visit the historic Edinburgh Castle. Next, they’ll make a stop at a youth café run by Social Bite, an organization working to end homelessness, a cause close to Harry’s heart. Prince Harry and Markle will then attend a reception for the Scottish Year of Young People at the Palace of Holyroodhouse.
Since Edinburgh is only about 400 miles north of London, it’s not clear whether they’ll return to their home at Nottingham Cottage or hunker down in Scotland’s capital for a romantic respite.
