There are only 94 days to go until Prince Harry and Meghan Markle tie the knot, and while their bachelor and bachelorette parties might be all planned and ready, the music to be played at their reception is still up in the air.
Rumors have been circulating that Ed Sheeran may win the gig of a lifetime, so to help sway the couple in his favor a Welsh children's choir decided to prepare a special performance for the couple.
While visiting the Palace of Holyroodhouse in Edinburgh, Harry and Meghan were treated to a surprise rendition of Sheeran's song “Perfect” by the Scottish music choir Impact Arts. According to People, the royal duo was completely blown away by the super-sweet and personal touch.
Ciara McDonald, a 17-year-old member of the choir, told the magazine “They just looked speechless. Meghan looked like she was going to cry. To see the smiles on their faces as we sung is something we’ll always treasure. Meghan said it was wonderful singing and that they really enjoyed it.”
The choir even joked that they would be happy to attend the reception and perform in Sheeran's place if he happens to be busy that day. (As if any prior engagement could keep us from attending the most anticipated wedding of the year.)
There are very few gifts that could possibly top what Queen Elizabeth has in store for the happy couple, but we have to say, a performance as moving as this might just be one of them.
