In a video clip reposted by @virgosgrooviest on Twitter, the royal couple is casually sitting down and Markle receives a text message from the Queen B herself.
The Duke of Sussex proceeds to gasp and show his surprise. “Shut up,” he says in the moment. Markle instantly starts fangirling and shares that she’s still shocked the singer “knows who I am.”
“She said she wants me to feel safe and protected,” the duchess said. “She admires and respects my bravery and vulnerability and thinks I was selected to break generational curses that need to be healed.”
Beyoncé has often shown her support for Markle over the years. Shortly after the royal couple sat down for their groundbreaking interview with Oprah Winfrey, the “Lemonade” singer sent a special message to the duchess on her website. “Thank you Meghan for your courage and leadership,” the note on the home page read. “We are all strengthened by you.”

And if that weren’t enough, the Grammy-award-winning singer dedicated a sweet birthday message to Markle last year on her site.
