Meghan Markle & Kate Middleton Just Had Their Final Public Reunion Before the Sussexes Officially Step Down

Prince Harry and Meghan Markle just attended their last official royal engagement before settling down in Canada.

Markle joined Prince Harry in London to celebrate Commonwealth Day today at Westminster Abbey. (The visit was at the request of Queen Elizabeth, so it’s not to be taken lightly.)

As per usual, the Commonwealth Day service was a family affair. Attendees included the 93-year-old queen, Prince William, Kate Middleton, Prince Charles, Camilla Parker Bowles and—of course—Meghan and Harry. For the occasion, Meghan stunned in a green Emilia Wickstead ensemble and William Chambers hat while Kate sported ruby red Catherine Walker coat dress.

In addition to the Commonwealth Day service, Prince Harry and Markle attended the Endeavour Fund Awards, which honors wounded, injured and sick veterans who use sports as a form of therapy. The couple also made an appearance at the Mountbatten Festival of Music on Saturday, which doubles as a concert for military musicians and Royal Marines.

Last year, Markle made headlines when she arrived at Westminster Abbey for Commonwealth Day in a white patterned Victoria Beckham dress, a white coat and a white pillbox hat while eight-months pregnant. The royal forwent her engagement ring and wedding band in favor of a simple gold wedding band, which was likely due to swelling associated with pregnancy.

The 2019 Commonwealth Day service was also one of the final big Fab Four moments, as both the Sussexes and the Cambridges walked in together. (Coincidentally, Middleton was also eight months pregnant with Prince Louis at the 2018 Commonwealth Day celebration. What are the chances?)
