Prince Harry Arrives in London Ahead of Princess Diana Statue Unveiling—Here’s What We Know

It’s official: Prince Harry has arrived in London ahead of Princess Diana’s statue unveiling.

According to The Daily Mirror, the Duke of Sussex, 36, was recently spotted leaving Heathrow Airport in a van. Prince Harry will reportedly stay at Frogmore Cottage (his former U.K. home) with his cousin, Princess Eugenie, and her family: husband Jack Brooksbank and son August.

The news comes just a few hours after MailOnline captured photos of Prince Harry arriving at LAX. (Although he and his wife, Meghan Markle, currently live in Montecito, LAX is the closest international airport.)

We’re not surprised by Prince Harry’s trip across the pond, since he’s expected to attend Princess Diana’s upcoming statue unveiling. The event will take place on July 1 (what would have been the late royal’s 60th birthday) in the Sunken Garden at Kensington Palace.

The statue unveiling will mark the second time Prince Harry has seen his brother, Prince William, since he spilled the royal family’s secrets during a tell-all interview with Oprah Winfrey. The first reunion took place a few weeks ago at Prince Philip’s funeral.

The good news is Kate Middleton will also likely make an appearance at Princess Diana’s statue unveiling. Although Kensington Palace declined to comment, The Daily Mirror reported that Middleton will “help her husband Prince William and his brother Harry put on a united front.”

Maybe Prince Harry arrived a few days before the event so he would have plenty of time to smooth things over with Prince William? Guess we’ll have to wait until July 1 to see how they interact.
