Wait, Prince Harry Had a Secret Facebook Account?

While scrolling through Facebook, we always come across (and sometimes block) former classmates, old bosses and even the mom of our high school fling. *Cringe* However, we’ve never been lucky enough to stumble upon Prince Harry’s fake account, which apparently existed back in the day. Here’s everything you need to know.

1. Did Prince Harry Have A Secret Facebook Account?

According to Page Six, the answer is yes. The Duke of Sussex, 35, reportedly used the not-so-believable alias “Spike Wells.” The profile was active from 2008 until 2012, when it suddenly disappeared. (One word: busted.) We don’t know if Prince Harry deactivated the account or deleted it altogether—either way, we’ll be keeping an eye out for Spike Wells on social media. (You know, just in case.)

2. Where's The Evidence?

Since the account is no longer active, we don’t have any physical proof to document (aside from some screenshots). However, if you happened to stumble across the account back in 2008, it wouldn’t be too difficult to discover that it belonged to Prince Harry. First of all, “Spike’s” hometown was reportedly listed as Maun, Botswana, which is one of the royal’s go-to spots. The account also had more than 400 friends, which included “some of the U.K.’s wealthiest and most glamorous socialites,” the Mirror reports.

Not to mention, the profile had never-before-seen photos of Prince Harry and his then-girlfriend, Chelsy Davy.
