Meghan Markle & Prince Harry’s New Year’s Video Features a New Photo of Baby Archie

Meghan Markle and Prince Harry are reflecting on their 2019 in the best way possible—with a never before seen photo of baby Archie.

The Duke and Duchess of Sussex released a video collage of highlights from the past year, but it was a sweet photo of Archie and his dad that quickly caught the attention of Instagram followers.

According to People, the newly released photo, which was shared on Tuesday, was taken by the duchess over the recent Thanksgiving holiday.

In the photo, we see both father and son are wearing knit caps—with Archie’s being from Make Give Live, a social enterprise founded by Claire Conza that runs community-based knitting groups in New Zealand. Markle was gifted one of these hats during the couple’s visit to New Zealand in October 2018 (while she was pregnant with Archie).

The clip also features other highlights of the couple’s year, including their tour of Africa, Harry’s dance with conservationist Jane Goodall, Archie’s christening, Markle and Kate Middleton attending Wimbledon together, Remembrance Day and more.

“Wishing you all a very Happy New Year and thanking you for your continued support! We’ve loved meeting so many of you from around the world and can’t wait to meet many more of you next year. We hope 2020 brings each of you health and continued happiness,” they captioned the post.

2020 is already off to a great start!
