Looks Like Prince George & Princess Charlotte Are Going to Be Homeschooled for a Bit Longer

2021 is already not going according to plan, even for the Cambridge children. While Prince George and Princess Charlotte were set to return to school after quietly celebrating the holidays with their immediate family, it has been revealed that the 7-year-old and the 5-year-old will be homeschooled just a bit longer.

Over the weekend, the U.K. government announced that all London primary schools should remain closed for the start of the new term due to high rates of COVID-19 infection. As a result, the return to Thomas's Battersea for George (who is in his third year) and Charlotte (who is in her first) has been delayed.

In addition, Hello! magazine reports that it is also likely that the youngest sibling, Prince Louis, would also likely not be starting at Willcocks Nursery School this week as originally planned. However, since no official statement has been made by Kate Middleton and Prince William, we’re not exactly sure when he will officially begin.

Education isn’t the only thing that has been affected by the current coronavirus pandemic for the Cambridge clan. As opposed to keeping to tradition and joining Queen Elizabeth (aka Gan-Gan) for the holiday celebrations at Sandringham, the royal family of five opted to stay at their country home at Anmer Hall in Norfolk to ring in the new year privately.

Though it still remains unclear how long it will be before children across the U.K. can return back to school, we have a feeling William and Kate have become pros at homeschooling and have everything under control.
