Prince George’s Favorite Toy Is Likely on Your Living Room Floor
Even Prince William and Duchess Kate have probably endured the excruciating pain that is stepping barefoot on a Lego.
Fancy education aside, Prince George’s favorite toy is surprisingly plebeian. Prince William revealed during a tour of luxury car manufacturer McLaren’s HQ facility in Woking, Surrey, that Legos (yes, Lego blocks) are the 4-year-old royal tot’s current toy obsession.
The royal dad stared in awe when he was shown a life-size model of the new 720S edition supercar intricately made of 280,000 little plastic Legos and exclaimed, “Wow! My son would love this! My son is very into Lego and he’d love this: It’s incredible!”
The Duke of Cambridge then carried on with his tour of the facility, where the $312,500-a-pop cars are assembled by hand.
Sure, fancy McLarens are fine, but we’re glad the little guy is honing his tastes on the finer things in a 4-year-old’s life...like Legos. It's nice to know he puts his short pants on one leg at a time like everyone else.
