Prince Charles and Camilla Parker Bowles Share @SussexRoyal Photo of Archie in Honor of His First Birthday

The photo, a black-and-white image of Prince Harry holding baby Archie as Prince Charles lovingly looks on, is a previously seen photo from behind-the-scenes of Archie's christening that took place last July. It was originally posted to the now-inactive @SussexRoyal Instagram in honor of Charles's birthday last year, where Harry officially confirmed his dad goes by "Grandpa" to baby Archie, and "Pa" to Prince Harry (and, possibly, Meghan as well?).

The Prince of Wales and Duchess of Cornwall's Instagram, @ClarenceHouse, showed off their burgeoning proficiency with emojis by captioning the photo with a red balloon emoji followed by: "A very Happy Birthday to Archie, who turns one today. This photo of Archie and his grandfather was taken following his christening in July 2019.‬ Chris Allerton ©️ Sussex Royal‬."

Archie's parents celebrated their son's first birthday by sharing a video of Meghan reading Duck! Rabbit! by Amy Krouse Rosenthal to the squirming one-year-old as father Prince Harry films and cheers them on. The video is in support of Save the Children UK's #SaveWithStories campaign, which raises money for food and educational resources for children impacted by the current coronavirus pandemic. The sweet footage was shared on the organization’s official social media accounts. Other celebrities have previously joined in the fundraising efforts, including Jude Law and Nicholas Hoult.

According to the Save the Children website, Jennifer Garner, a Save the Children ambassador, launched the initiative in the US and "encouraged the Duchess, who is a friend, to join in. The Duke and Duchess then decided their son’s birthday would be the ideal moment to give their support."

“As they celebrate this family moment, the Duke and Duchess wanted to continue to raise awareness around the urgency of bringing food and learning resources to millions of children," the press release continues.

Archie's great-grandparents, Queen Elizabeth II and Prince Philip, as well as his aunt and uncle, Kate Middleton and Prince William, also got in on the celebrations on social media. @KensingtonPalace and @TheRoyalFamily all shared well-wishes and photos of baby Archie from his first year.

Now, if only Harry and Meghan could share more Archie content on his big day... It's safe to say we can't get enough.
