Prince Guillaume & Princess Stéphanie of Luxembourg Release Rare Home Video of 1-Year-Old Son

Hereditary Grand Duke Guillaume and Hereditary Grand Duchess Stéphanie of Luxembourg just celebrated their son’s first birthday by sharing a rare glimpse into their everyday lives.

The royals recently released a special tribute in honor of Prince Charles (no, not that one) turning 1 on May 10.

The home video shows the baby sitting on a blanket in the daffodil-clad gardens of the family’s home, Fischbach Castle, which is located Luxembourg. He’s eventually joined by his two parents, who are practically wrapped around his little finger. The family’s pet rabbit even makes a cameo in Prince Guillaume’s arms. (Because why not?)

The video also offers a glimpse into the palace, where Prince Charles is seen playing with multiple expertly wrapped gifts before blowing out a single candle.

Prince Guillaume and Princess Stéphanie also released several birthday portraits of Prince Charles, which were taken by professional photographer Sophie Margue. While they are all charming in their own way, the fourth one is our favorite, since it documents Prince Charles’s love for dessert.

As the couple’s first child, the 1-year-old is second in the line of succession to the Luxembourgish throne behind his father. (NBD.) His full name is Prince Charles Jean Philippe Joseph Marie Guillaume, which already sounds regal as it is.

BRB, re-watching this video *one* more time.
