Have you ever wanted to visit New York’s Plaza Hotel just to slide down the golden banister like Kevin McCallister (Macaulay Culkin) did in Home Alone 2? Well, now’s your chance. In honor of the film’s 25th anniversary, the Plaza Hotel is offering fans the opportunity to live like McCallister sans the Rube Goldberg booby traps.
The hotel’s Home Alone 2 package includes a tour of iconic filming locations, Empire State Building passes, Wollman Rink ice-skating tickets and a limousine excursion that follows a map from the film. Oh, and did we mention a professional photographer will tag along to capture every moment? Talk about a social media goldmine.
But that’s not all. Guests will also be able to indulge in a McCallister-inspired menu back at the Plaza’s Todd English Food Hall. Think charcuterie “Lunchables,” SpaghettiOs, a fancy take on Hot Pockets, Funyons and, of course, a Plaza-style sundae.
The Home Alone 2 package will be available for purchase online beginning December 1, with rates starting at $895.
No plans to travel to the Big Apple anytime soon? No problem. The offer runs all the way through October 29, 2018, so enough with the excuses, ya filthy animal.
