Pauley Perrette Is Leaving ‘NCIS’ After 15 Seasons
After 15 blood-and-hair-follicle-filled seasons, Pauley Perrette is packing up her lab coat and bidding adieu to NCIS.
Perrette, who plays the pigtailed Abby Sciuto on everyone’s favorite naval crime show, officially announced her departure on Twitter today. The actress shared a screenshot of her statement: “So, it is true that I am leaving NCIS after this season. There have been all kinds of false stories as to why. (NO I DON’T HAVE A SKIN CARE LINE AND NO MY NETWORK AND SHOW ARE NOT MAD AT ME!)”

She concluded, “All the love, all the laughter, all the inspiration... I love her as much as you do.”
Perrette first portrayed the Goth forensic scientist in 2003 and quickly captured NCIS viewers’ crime-loving hearts one quirky aside at a time.
