Director Patty Jenkins rightfully earned her stellar reputation for her directing in Wonder Woman, and now she's about to make it rain once she signs on the dotted line to helm the superlady sequel.
Jenkins is reportedly negotiating with Warner Bros. to direct Wonder Woman 2 in a big mama deal that will make her the highest-paid female director ever. Though the exact amount hasn't officially been disclosed, Jenkins will be taking it to the bank alongside other (read: male) directors who made films with similar box-office numbers. Zack Snyder raked in a cool $10 million for his DC Extended Universe film, Man of Steel, so you do the math.
Just a little reminder that Wonder Woman is the third highest-grossing-film in Warner Bros. history, after The Dark Knight and The Dark Knight Rises, and reached nearly $800 million in box-office earnings worldwide. No big deal.
