Nikki Reed and her husband, Ian Somerhalder, are officially parents!
The couple reportedly welcomed a baby girl to the world on July 25, according to E!, and we couldn't be happier for them. True to their bohemian spirit, Reed and Somerhalder chose a unique name, Bodhi Soleil Reed Somerhalder, for their newest family member. The distinctive moniker translates to “awakening” or “enlightenment” and is the word used by Buddhists to describe true understanding.
Reed and Somerhalder, who married in April 2015, announced the impending arrival of their firstborn in May and recently revealed their plan to take a vow of silence for the first month following baby Bodhi's birth.
True to their word, the couple have not yet shared photos of little Bodhi or mentioned her arrival on social media...but we can't wait until they do!
