The new mom revealed she delivered a baby boy in her latest Instagram post. Since giving birth a few weeks ago, Minaj has been MIA on social media and has given little-to-no details on the birth, so this was a major spill.
While the IG post showed off a gallery of sweet messages sent by some of her celeb friends (yes, like Beyoncé or just B to Minaj), she dropped the news in a simple caption. “Thank you to Queen B, Kim & Ye, Riccardo Tisci, Winnie, Karol & everyone who sent well wishes during this time. It meant the world to me. I am so grateful and in love with my son. Madly in love. My favorite liddo boy in the whole wide world.”
Her fans (aka The Barbz) flooded her comments with blue heart emojis and even more congratulations. Other than releasing a few maternity photos back in July, this is the first time she gave us any new info on Instagram about her baby boy.
Minaj is known for secretly dropping bombshells. When rumors began to swirl that she might be pregnant, she teased the news in a Q&A after fans asked her about cooking during quarantine. She replied with hints about pregnancy cravings and potential forthcoming baby bump pics.
There’s no word on the name (or any photos of her baby boy) but we can expect a subtle, surprise announcement soon, in true Minaj fashion.
