Fans are getting a rare glimpse of Priyanka Chopra and Nick Jonas’s baby girl, Malti Marie—and she’s already taking after her dad.
On Instagram earlier this week, the 30-year-old singer shared a new photo of himself holding his one-year-old mini-me, who’s seen looking beyond the camera. In the snap, Malti is donning a light blue frock with white sandals, and Jonas is wearing a black-and-silver sequin jacket. He simply captioned the post with a heart emoji.
Fans in the comments immediately noticed the resemblance between the father-daughter duo. One fan wrote, "Nick's carbon copy. Sooo cute!" Another said, “Like daddy like daughter! Absolutely adorable!!!” While it's easy to see the resemblance to Chopra as well, it's hard to miss the fact that Malti has Jonas's ears in particular.
The post, which already has 2.6 million likes, comes just a few weeks after Chopra shared a sweet snap of her family having an intimate outdoor picnic. The proud mom is seen wearing a baseball cap as she sits on the grass with both Nick and Malti, who's donning a dress and sunhat. She captioned the post, "Sundays are for picnics."
Jonas and his wife welcomed their first child via surrogacy in January 2022, and they've been quite open about their experiences with parenting.
While speaking with Variety about fatherhood later that year, Jonas said, "The weight of everything is much more intense. I think it's now about trying to be as present as possible and as thoughtful as you can be for your family, but also for other people's journeys. I'm so grateful for [Malti] and the wonderful perspective of being a parent."
