If you’ve ever dreamed of traveling the world, or if your Instagram is bursting with photos from that trip to Thailand, have we got news for you. The New York Times is now hiring a correspondent to travel the world (well, 52 places at least).
Every year, the Times releases its list of “52 Places to Go,” a much-anticipated source of inspiration for travelers looking for their next big trip. And this year they want to hire a journalist to document each destination, scouting out the most pristine beaches and best plates of pasta. (That’s what traveling is about, right?) They describe the ideal candidate as a “permanent student of life and astute documentarian of the world.” Sounds like you, no?
Considering some of the locations on the list (Botswana! Madagascar! Minneapolis!), we wouldn’t complain about being paid to jet-set for a year. Time to dust off that résumé (and passport).
