Grab your wand and wizarding hat, because we’re goin’ to Hogwarts! The new trailer for the Harry Potter: Hogwarts Mystery mobile game is finally here, and it looks ~magical~.
Unless you live under a Grawp, chances are you’ve heard of the new, highly anticipated augmented-reality mobile game (think Pokémon Go, butwayyyy better) based on J.K. Rowling’s hit novels. The game, from app developer Jam City, is set in “the time between Harry Potter’s birth and his enrollment at Hogwarts, when Nymphadora Tonks and Bill Weasley were students.” In it, players create their own student avatar, choose a magical pet, join a Hogwarts house and even go through Transfiguration and Potions classes while solving mysteries and making fellow witch and wizard friends along the way.
Harry Potter: Hogwarts Mystery will debut this spring, but eager muggles with Androids can preregister now on Google Play.
The only thing left to do? Compare class schedules with friends so you don’t have an “I’m the only one in Snape’s 2 p.m. Potions” scenario.
