Dust off those broomsticks (or vacuums) and start practicing those spells—your favorite ’90s Halloween, Hocus Pocus, is coming back with a vengeance.
The Disney Channel announced it’s developing a reimagined TV-movie version of the 1993 classic, which starred the incomparable trio of Bette Midler, Sarah Jessica Parker and Kathy Najimy. (Honorable mention to Midler’s prosthetic nose.)
While screenwriter Scarlett Lacey (The Royals) is taking a crack at re-creating that witchy magic the original film brought to Salem, the cast and director have not yet been announced, nor has a release date. In any case, we’re definitely bewitched by the spellbinding update.
