If You Loved ‘Nashville,’ Then You’re Going to Love ‘Pure Country: Pure Heart’
Five years ago, we fell in love with a little Tennessee-based episodic drama series called Nashville. We love everything from its never dull, always steamy love-triangle plotlines to the plethora of celebrity cameos and, of course, Connie Britton's hit-you-for-the-ugly-cry power ballads. If you, too, loved Nashville, then you're going to love Warner Bros. third installment of its Pure Country series, Pure Country: Pure Heart.
Pure Country: Pure Heart is a story about two teen sisters, Maddie and Daphne Conrad Piper and Ada Spencer, who embark on a pilgrimage to Nashville to learn more about their late father. To their surprise, they discover he was a secret Deacon Claybourne-in-the-making. Naturally, the sisters decide to immediately abandon all their farm chores and hit the open dirt road to Music City with nothing but a pickup truck, acoustic guitar, songbird singing voices and a shared dream in tow.
Oh, and country music legend Willie Nelson even makes a cameo. YAASS!
Pure Country: Pure Heart will be available for your viewing pleasure August 1.
