Beware, true-crime aficionados: The My Friend Dahmer trailer gives even the spine-chilling docuseries The Jinx a run for its serial-killer money.
Disney star Ross Lynch portrays a high school-aged version of Jeffrey Dahmer, the notorious serial killer who brutally murdered 17 victims. Lynch’s sinister portrayal of the young psychopath is disturbing, especially when he says things like, “I like bones. I’m interested in what’s inside.”
The Austin and Ally alum is joined by Alex Wolfe, Anne Heche, Dallas Roberts and Vincent Kartheiser in this frightening film from writer and director Marc Meyers.
Possibly the scariest aspect of this film is that it’s based on John “Derf” Backderf’s real-life experience as Dahmer’s high school acquaintance and the graphic novel he wrote about their adolescent years.
My Friend Dahmer hits theaters November 3. We’re never leaving the house again.
