Two Brands Known for Iconic Stripes Just Joined Forces on a Running Shoe

Adidas

For its newest collaboration, Italian fashion house Missoni decided to go back to its roots. Like, all the way back to before the brand was even founded and its co-founder Ottavio Missoni was competing as an Olympic-level runner. In a callback to his career as a world-class athlete, Missoni is getting into the sportswear game once again with another brand best known for its stripes: Adidas.

Missoni's iconic multicolor knits have been incorporated into 15 designs—three unisex Ultraboost sneakers, six men's clothing styles and six women's clothing styles—so your workout can now be as high-fashion as the rest of your day (or at least as high-fashion as we wish we were on the regular).

Adidas and Missoni's new version of racing stripes come in either a rainbow-hue or black and white (for a slightly more subtle look). A pair of sneakers will set you back $280, while the clothing items range from $120 to $330. So, not exactly budget-friendly, but still more affordable than a KMiddy's Missoni cocktail dress.

Shop the collection at Missoni starting April 24 and Adidas starting April 25.
