Mindy Kaling Stuns in a Tropical Floral Dress on IG

Spring might be a few days away, but Mindy Kaling has decided to kick off the season a little early this year.

Yesterday, The Office alum posted a picture of herself rocking a blue tropical floral dress in what appears to be an outdoor dining area. Kaling wrote in the caption, “Didn’t think through the tan lines here.”

In the new IG post, she donned an off-the-shoulder dress that features large pink flowers. The Mindy Project star accessorized the look with a pink handbag, which matched the blooming orchids. She also wore a gold bangle bracelet and shiny earrings that showcased four white pearls.

Of course, her fans flocked to the comment sections to gush over the dress. “Gorgeous,” one person wrote. Another said, “So dreamy.”

Even her former Office co-star, Angela Kinsey, had nothing but kind words to say about the picture. “Stunning!!!” she wrote. Maitreyi Ramakrishnan, who plays the lead character on Netflix’s series Never Have I Ever, commented, “Are you orchid-ding me?” Kaling replied, “I love you.”

Speaking of Never Have I Ever, season three might be coming sooner than we thought. Created by Kaling and Lang Fisher, the show centers around a teenage girl named Devi Vishwakumar. As a first-generation Indian American, she tries to navigate friendships, family and relationships while attempting to improve her social status at school.

Earlier this month, Kaling posted an important message regarding the third season on Instagram. The post read, “We’ve got some morning announcements for you: Season 3 of Never Have I Ever is gonna drop this summer! Plus we’ve just been renewed for a fourth and final season, which we are absolutely thrilled about.”

“We can’t wait to reveal all the steamy romance and hilarious adventures we have in store for you,” the message continued. “Thanks to all our fans for your support–especially the #Bevi and #Daxton stans. We love you!”
