According to The Hollywood Reporter, A Wrinkle in Time actress Mindy Kaling’s TV adaptation of the 1994 rom-com Four Weddings and a Funeral has been given the green light from streaming giant Hulu. The comedian penned the script for the remake along with Mindy Project showrunner Matt Warburton.
The original movie’s writer, Richard Curtis, will executive produce the new series about a group of friends who commiserate over love and missed opportunities as they attend the aforementioned weddings and funeral.
No word yet on the cast, but fingers crossed Mindy Kaling signs on to star.
