Mila Kunis has neatly folded and set aside her Bad Mom jeans in exchange for a (well-deserved) best daughter of the year tiara.
Kunis channeled her inner Ty Pennington and surprised her parents, Elvira and Mark Kunis, with a complete overhaul of their humble abode in Los Angeles on the latest episode of My Houzz. Because in the wise words of That ’70s Show’s Jackie Burkhart, "Being sad is a waste of time."
But here’s the kicker: This isn’t just any condo renovation; it’s the condo in which Kunis and her family first lived when they uprooted their lives to move from the former Soviet Union to the U.S., when she was seven years old. In addition to immense sentimentality, this was the location of the genesis of high-pitched Jackie Burkhart's best one-liners and where the epic love story, Jackie and Kelso, aka Mila and Ashton, blossomed into the beautiful life imitating art relationship that it is today.
As you can imagine, Kunis had quite a few updates in mind for the 26-year-old abode. It was time to swap out the Miami Vice-inspired furniture, the itsy-bitsy teeny-weenie yellow polka dot bikini kitchen and, well, the outdated aesthetic of the entire condo. OK, so she had a lot of changes.
But with the help of Houzz and hubby Kutcher, Kunis pulled off a stunning transformation that left her mom weeping tears of joy.
Did we mention Kunis pulled off this magnificent feat while nine months pregnant? Yeah, she can totally wear her tiara and Bad Mom jeans, too.
