Remember fan-favorite Mike Johnson from Hannah Brown’s season of The Bachelorette? Well, the former contestant just left a comment on that producer’s (aka Julie LaPlaca) most recent Instagram post, and romance rumors are swirling.
Over the weekend, the 28-year-old producer shared a photo of herself relaxing on a bed on Instagram, captioning the post, “Me, all day everyday right now.” Same.
And while the post received over four thousand likes, it was the comment from Johnson that stood out to us. “Damn! Are you a producer or the future bachelorette,” he wrote, adding a rose emoji. And it didn’t end there. LaPlaca responded with her own comment, writing, "@mikejohnson1_ & I hear you're the bachelor now?” to which he responded, “@julielaplaca lmfao yesterday only.” Hmm, interesting.
The conversation comes shortly after LaPlaca revealed she and Peter Weber are not romantically involved.
If you didn’t know, a popular Reddit theory purported that the 28-year-old pilot didn’t end up with one of his many female suitors. Instead, it argued that Weber ultimately professes his love for the Bachelor producer.
Rumors started swirling when photos of LaPlaca and the Weber family celebrating a New Year’s Eve lunch surfaced and again when LaPlaca shared a photo of herself in Times Square on New Year’s Rockin’ Eve where Weber is seen in the background.
