Michael Consuelos Opens Up About Working with His Famous Parents on New Film
The 25-year-old actor recently sat down with Entertainment Tonight and talked about what it was really like having his parents as his bosses. Just to give a little bit of background info, Michael had a starring role in the movie and his parents were executive producers for the project.
When asked about the experience, Michael said, “It’s not just on this, my parents are my bosses in life. There’s pluses, obviously, there’s ease. Some things are easier and some things are a lot harder. You always [have to] bring your A-game.”
He continued, “I wasn’t much of a sports guy growing up, [but] when I was at a cross country meet and my parents were around I’m like, ‘I have to really bring it because they're watching.’ They had a big hand in this, so I wanted to make sure I did a really good job because they were watching. I think it was a good motivator.”
Let's Get Physical premiered on Lifetime over the weekend. The movie, as part of the network’s Ripped from the Headlines series, centers around Sadie (played by Jenna Dewan), who is a fitness instructor running a secret prostitution ring. Once the authorities receive an anonymous tip, her secret is exposed and it leads to a major scandal within the community.
Definitely sounds like working with your parents was an unforgettable experience, Michael.
