After months of speculation, Michael B. Jordan is officially off the market.
Over the weekend, the Black Panther star, 33, low-key confirmed his relationship with Lori Harvey (who is the daughter of Steve Harvey). Jordan made the romance Instagram official by sharing a slideshow that features not one, but two never-before-seen photos of the couple.
The images were seemingly taken during the holidays, since there’s a lit-up Christmas tree in the background. The first shot is a candid photo of the couple, followed by a near-PDA pic.
Harvey also confirmed the relationship on her personal Instagram account (@loriharvey). She shared two Polaroid photos that appear to have been taken on the same night as Jordan’s pictures.
We’re not totally surprised by the news, since relationship rumors have been swirling since November 2020 after they were spotted together at an airport. One month later, they were photographed arriving in Salt Lake City, which is where they likely spent the holidays.
Jordan previously opened up about his relationship status during an interview for People’s Sexiest Man Alive issue. He even shared details about what he’s looking for in a partner, saying, “A sense of humor, true understanding, because [an actor’s] life is not conducive to a relationship—it’s really not.”
Jordan went on to discuss his ideal date night, adding, “The freedom to go wherever I wanted in public, not worry about paparazzi. Enjoy somebody’s company. Go for a drive, dope playlist. Drive somewhere just for dessert. I’m definitely a movie guy, and then I’d ride the vibe for the rest of the night.”
