Prince Harry, 39, and Meghan Markle, 42, closed out the 2023 Invictus Games with a bang. On Saturday, the Duke and Duchess of Sussex attended the closing ceremony (which took place in Düsseldorf, Germany) for the annual sports tournament, where they came dressed to the nines.

The royal couple showed up to the ceremony together, and when they made their entrance, Harry (who launched the sporting event in 2014) looked quite dapper in a black suit and tie. But it was Markle’s stunning ensemble that really stole the show.

Per Who What Wear, the Duchess of Sussex (as seen in the photo below) rocked a custom-made turquoise strapless floral lace dress designed by Cult Gaia. While sporting a slicked back bun with a middle part, the Suits alum paired the look with beige Aquazzura pumps, a Love bracelet by Cartier and diamond earrings from Kimai.

During the event, Harry got up on stage and gave a very moving speech to the crowd. “As you’ve seen and experienced, this week is so much more than a sporting event. It is a platform for positive change. The ripple of respect has been felt far and wide, and we hope you too are feeling it deeply,” he said.

This latest outing comes a few days after Harry celebrated his 39th birthday. This past Friday, the royal spare spent his special day at the Invictus Games, where the father of two watched a volleyball game between Poland and Germany alongside his wife and the rest of the crowd. Everyone surprised the duke by singing “Happy Birthday.”

And he was so touched by the gesture that he couldn’t help but smile from ear to ear. Markle sat right beside the birthday boy and clapped along to the crowd singing.
