Meghan Markle Reveals What It’s Really Like Traveling with Baby Archie

At the ripe age of 4 months, Prince Harry and Meghan Markle’s son, Archie Harrison Mountbatten-Windsor, is already racking up quite a few frequent flyer miles. However, the Duchess of Sussex, 38, just revealed that traveling with the royal baby is exactly what you’d expect: a whole lot of work.

Markle recently opened up about the reality behind bringing little Archie on the ten-day royal tour of Africa. When asked about traveling with the baby, she admitted that everything revolves around his schedule—not hers.

“Oh, my goodness. Well, we’re doing well,” the duchess said, according to Hello! magazine. “I think the schedule—they have been very kind to me, because everything is based around Archie’s feed times.”

Markle went on to confirm that she’s finding ways to cope, just as any new parent does. “It’s a full plate, but we’re making it work,” she added. “It’s worth it.”

During the royal tour of Africa, the duchess embarked on a solo trip to Johannesburg (Harry joined her later), which is home to local design studios and art galleries. Although she got some much needed “me” time, Markle was happy to be reunited with her family.

“We are reuniting today, which I can’t wait for. I miss [Prince Harry] so much!” she said. “But I think for us it has been a really special trip, because you get to see when you’re focusing on the causes that are really important to us, you can see that the impact is good, and it feels meaningful.”

Still, one question remains: Does baby Archie have TSA PreCheck? You know, for his future (hopefully) royal tour of the U.S.
