Is Meghan Markle Coming Back to Instagram? She May Not-So-Secretly Already Be There

First, it was rumored that Meghan Markle might be relaunching her lifestyle blog, The Tig. And now, royally-obsessed fans are convinced that the Duchess of Sussex, 42, is planning to secretly return to Instagram. Or did she already do it?

According to a report by Marie Claire and sources who spoke to Page Six, it’s speculated that the mother of two has created an Instagram account with the handle @meghan. Earlier this month, reports confirmed royal followers started noticing the account appeared on the social media platform.

And while neither Markle nor any member of the British royal family has come out to confirm whether or not the profile belongs to her, it did not take long for the IG account to garner over 100K followers.

Hello! Magazine also reported that one of the royal duchess’s close friend/former colleague, Mandana Dayani, is following the account. In addition, education activist Malala Yousafzai (who joined Markle and her husband, Prince Harry, 38, in a virtual call for International Day of the Girl in 2020) is following the account.

As far as content, Hello! Magazine speculates Markle can earn up to $1 million per post, which will most likely focus on upcoming projects and her recent charity work.

Before joining the royal family, the Suits actress had a personal IG account @meghanmarkle, in addition to The Tig. However, she ultimately deleted the account and launched a joint profile (@sussexroyal) with her husband. After the pair relinquished their royal duties, they stopped utilizing the page.
