Meghan Markle and Prince Harry Share Brand-New Video of Archie for His First Birthday—& He’s Getting so Big

Meghan Markle and Prince Harry just made good great on their promise to release a new photo of baby Archie in honor of his first birthday. The Duke and Duchess of Sussex went one step further and shared a video of their son in honor of his big day. Oh, and it was for a good cause.

ICYMI: Last week in a statement to the Sunday Times, a spokesperson for the couple revealed that they would soon be sharing a never-before-seen photo of the birthday boy, “You can expect to see him.” Well, it seems the duo pivoted to a full-blown video of the one-year-old and he seriously has gotten so big.

The new clip, which was shot by Prince Harry, features the duchess reading the children's book Duck! Rabbit! to Archie as he sits on her lap. The video was created for Save the Children U.K.'s #SaveWithStories campaign, which raises money for food and educational resources for children impacted by the current coronavirus pandemic. The sweet footage was shared on the organization’s official social media accounts (and did you spot Archie’s baby teeth?!).

The (ex) royal couple is currently self-isolating at their new residence in Los Angeles, California. And while we imagine they won’t be doing any celebrating outside of the home (mayyyybe they'll get a visit from Markle’s mom, Doria), we’d make a small bet Archie is going to get some Zoom calls from his Cambridge cousins and, of course, Gan-Gan

Happy birthday, Archie!
