Meghan Markle Reveals Her Sweet Nickname for Harry in Candid FaceTime with James Corden

Meghan Markle just revealed another nickname she has for her husband, Prince Harry. And we have James Corden to thank.

On Thursday, the television host finally dropped Harry’s appearance on The Late Late Show with James Corden. During the 20-minute clip, the TV host and the Duke of Sussex stopped at the original home used in The Fresh Prince of Bel Air. In an attempt to get Harry to move into the famous mansion, Corden FaceTimed the Duchess of Sussex to get her opinion.

It was pretty clear that Markle wasn’t crazy about the idea, considering they’ve “done enough moving” in the last year. (The family of three moved from the U.K. to Canada to L.A. before finally settling into their new home in Montecito). The 39-year-old also made sure to ask her hubby, “Haz,” how his time with Corden was going.

“Haz? I didn't know we were calling you 'Haz' now,” Corden stated before Harry replied, “You're not my wife.” Very clever.

And this isn’t the first time the expecting mother has revealed a pet name she has for Harry. In fact, back in 2019, she referred to him as “H” on camera during an interview with Tom Bradby for the ITV special Harry & Meghan: An African Journey.

She said, “I've said for a long time to H—that's what I call him—it’s not enough to just survive something. That’s not the point of life. You have got to thrive. You have got to feel happy.”

While we still love H, we definitely think we can get used to Haz.
