Meghan Markle and Prince Harry are said to be settling into their new life in Canada nicely and we can see why.
Since late fall, the Duke and Duchess of Sussex, their 9-month-old son Archie and their two rescue dogs have been ensconced at an elegant mansion on Vancouver Island. Perched on the shores of the Saanich Inlet of North Saanich, British Columbia, the home is truly a sight to behold.
According to the Mirror, the $14 million dollar mansion is fit for, well, royalty. Not only does the 10,000 square-foot home boast a pizza oven, a game room, a wine tasting room and, strangely, a 17th century imported French fireplace, but it also features a guest cottage for visitors. Of course, the well-appointed home also includes many bedrooms and bathrooms, as well as a formal dining room, a two-story living room, a wet bar and a media room.
Built just over a decade ago and set on several acres, the family’s Canadian respite features an expansive yard for Archie and the dogs to frolic through.
The duke and duchess’s temporary home is even an arm’s length from a beautiful rocky beach, which bears a striking resemblance to the area where Prince Harry and Archie had their New Year’s photo taken by Markle herself.
