Meghan Markle & Prince Harry Share a Heartfelt ‘Letter for 2021’ and Even Include Pics of Their Mothers

Meghan Markle and Prince Harry closed out 2020 with a very important message. In honor of the start of the new year, the Duke and Duchess of Sussex shared a heartfelt letter on the newly relaunched website for their non-profit organization, Archewell.

“I am my mother’s son. And I am our son’s mother. Together we bring you Archewell,” the couple wrote in their letter titled “Letter for 2021.”

On the website’s homepage, which was created back in October, the couple also posted two throwback photographs featuring a young Harry sitting on his late mother, Princess Diana’s, shoulders as well as one of a young Markle behind hugged by her mother, Doria Ragland.

The message continued, “We believe in the best of humanity. Because we have seen the best of humanity. We have experienced compassion and kindness, from our mothers and strangers alike. In the face of fear, struggle and pain, it can be easy to lose sight of this. Together, we can choose to put compassion in action. We invite you to join us as we work to build a better world, one act of compassion at a time.”

The duo signed the letter: “Harry & Meghan."

In addition, the 39-year-old former actress and her hubby also revealed new partnerships between Archewell and several tech and research-focused companies, including the Center for Humane Technology and the UCLA Center for Critical Internet Inquiry.

The updated homepage comes days after the ex-royals released their first-ever podcast (from their newly announced partnership with Spotify) which even featured an appearance from baby Archie.

We can’t wait to see what else these two have in store for us in 2021.
