“Earlier this week, The Duke and Duchess of Sussex returned to visit the women of The Hubb Community Kitchen and Together, Our Community Cookbook,” they captioned the post. “These women came together in the wake of the Grenfell tragedy to cook meals for their families and neighbors who had been displaced from the fire. With funds from the successful cookbook, they have now been able to share their spirit of community with so many more. The Hubb continues to work with local organizations to build hope, bring comfort and provide not simply a warm meal, but with it, a sense of togetherness.”
By the looks of the photos and Markle’s outfit in the post, it seems like the visit took place on Tuesday (one day before their official announcement). Interesting.
This isn’t the first time the royal couple has spotlighted the organization. Markle has privately worked with them for the past few years—preparing meals and even writing the foreword for a cookbook featuring their recipes to benefit the project.
The organization also holds a special place in the duchess’s heart. It was the first cause she championed solo in her royal role. Not to mention she hosted a palace luncheon for the program, where she gave her first-ever public speech as the Duchess of Sussex.
So, we guess all is well?
