Buckingham Palace Just Confirmed Meghan Markle's First Red Carpet Event Post-Baby (and Beyoncé Will Definitely Be There)

Call us "Crazy in Love"...but we can't stop hyperventilating over the idea that Meghan Markle and Beyoncé are probably going to meet on Sunday, July 14, at the Lion King red carpet premiere in London.

Buckingham Palace just confirmed what we had hoped with our whole heart would be true: that new mama Markle will take a break from her maternity leave with royal baby Archie, just over 2 months old, to attend her first red-carpet event post-pregnancy. (The last time we saw the duchess on the red carpet was at the Endeavor Fund Awards in February.)

The Duchess of Sussex is planning on joining her husband, Prince Harry, at the British red carpet premiere of the Disney movie, in which Beyoncé voices the lioness Nala

A recent report from Hello! said Markle is "keen" to attend the star-studded premiere alongside her husband in London's Leicester Square.

This may be the first time the two superstar celebs have met (at least, in public), though Beyoncé and husband Jay-Z did pay tribute to the duchess at the Brit Awards this past February.

As you may recall, the Carters accepted their win for Best International Music Group from afar, and a video of Beyoncé and Jay-Z was played at the ceremony. In it, the music legends are standing in front of a painting of a beautiful woman wearing a crown...and it's unmistakably the doppelgänger of Duchess of Sussex Meghan Markle. It could literally be her royal portrait.

The Carters were recreating a scene from their "Apeshit" music video in which they stand in front of the Mona Lisa in the Louvre, but instead of ol' Mona, it's duchess Megs in fan-art form. Beyoncé captioned the post: "In honor of Black History Month, we bow down to one of our Melanated Monas. Congrats on your pregnancy! We wish you so much joy.”

It's only fitting that the duchess would want to meet her number-one fan Queen Bey in person.

Side note: If Beyoncé fangirls you, does time itself stop ticking? We guess we'll just have to wait and see...
