Meghan Markle’s Go-to Bakery Is Now Delivering ‘Isolation Cakes’

A bakery very close to Meghan Markle’s heart is helping locals in the best way they can during this time of social distancing—by delivering cakes!

Luminary Bakery, an organization in Stoke Newington which aims to empower some of the U.K.'s most socially and economically disadvantaged women, is now delivering something called an “Isolation Cake” to those who are not able to leave their homes. The company made the announcement in an Instagram post on Thursday. And boy, does that cake look delicious.

“Introducing the ‘Isolation Cake’! Know someone self-isolating that could do with a cake drop?” the bakery captioned the post. “Working from home got you feeling like you need some sweet, sweet joy in the form of cake? Order today for delivery within 10-miles of our Stokey bakery. Cakes are available in all flavours and in our new smaller family-size for the more intimate gatherings we are all restricted to (for now).”

Meghan and Harry are no strangers to the organization. The Duchess of Sussex made a surprise visit to the East London-based bakery back in November to celebrate the new location opening.

She also previously featured Luminary in the September issue of British Vogue and highlighted the organization on Instagram over the summer. Not to mention, Luminary Bakery handcrafted a special cake for the duchess’s 38th birthday celebration back in August.

If only they delivered these bad boys across the pond.
