Meghan Markle’s Zoom Style Includes an Evil Eye Necklace That ‘Protects from Negative Energies’
Even though she’s not physically attending any events right now, Meghan Markle is making sure to look her best for her Zoom engagements. That includes makeup, accessories and more.
Last week, Smart Works, a U.K. charity that aims to provide underprivileged women with interview-appropriate clothing and prepare them for the job market, revealed that the Duchess of Sussex recently spoke with one of its clients. The woman (who was unnamed) was preparing for an interview for a psychology internship when Markle called to wish her “best of luck.”
In the video call, the Duchess of Sussex wore a red sweater accessorized with some gold necklaces, one of which was adorned with an evil eye motif from the brand Edge of Ember. “The necklace bears a blue topaz evil eye to protect its wearer from negative energies,” founder Lynette Ong, told People. “I wear mine every day, and it has certainly helped me translate negative energies into positive vibes.”
According to the website, the Visionary Charm Necklace is inspired by vintage coins found in Asia and is said to “protect its wearer from negative vibes.” The piece is made in 18K vermeil gold and retails for $175 (no surprise, it’s currently sold out).
First her flawless makeup look, now this? Meghan is definitely inspiring us to step up our Zoom style.
