Class Act Meghan Markle Donated Her Baby Shower Flowers to Charity (And We've Got the Pics)

We're still buzzing from Meghan Markle's surprise baby shower in New York City this week. We're also thrilled that shower guest—and CBS This Morning host—Gayle King spilled the beans on one of the shower activities that took place: Meghan and her pals spent the afternoon arranging flowers.

But King also shared that when they were finished, the Duchess of Sussex made sure that all the pretty bouquets of blooms that were assembled were donated to charity, specifically, Repeat Roses, an organization that recycles florals from events and uses them to cheer up people in hospitals and care centers.

Well, we just got even more details about Meghan's donation. Jennifer Grove, the CEO of Repeat Roses, told People.com that the shower blooms were sent to the pediatric cancer patients at Ronald McDonald House Charities of New York, cancer patients at Hope Lodge, and men and women receiving care at Unique People Services.

What a lovely way to pivot a shower activity into something that spreads (royal) joy at the same time.

Brava, Meghan—oh, and her A-list squad of shower guests, too.
