Meghan Markle Curtsied to the King of Morocco in a Stunning Carolina Herrera Maxi Dress
Meghan Markle and Prince Harry just stepped out for their third and final night in Morocco for a reception at King Mohammed VI of Morocco’s royal residence and donned their finest (and fanciest) fashions for the occasion.
Markle wore a custom Carolina Herrera blue maxi dress ($2,990) over her seven-month baby bump, and the lighter-than-air silk-chiffon that flowed around her as Harry and Markle made their grand appearance down the stone steps of the royal residence was truly breathtaking.
The unexpected private meeting was an opportunity for the Sussexes to present the King of Morocco with letters from Queen Elizabeth, according to Kensington Palace.
It was also a chance for the diplomatic duchess to practice her first-ever royal curtsy to a foreign dignitary. Judging from the video below of Markle’s swift curtsy to the Moroccan king (per fan account @harry_meghan_updates)
The Sussexes’ private audience also included the king’s 15-year-old son, the Crown Prince Moulay Hassan—and our inner teenage fangirl would be absolutely freaking out.
The most beautiful dress to cap off the most glam Moroccan royal tour? We expected nothing less, Your Highness.
